05.12.19 – Minsk – Dasha
This was my first time in Minsk. I was planning to visit Minsk for a while, but i was not sure when to go there. Finally, when I saw that there was the photography exposition: PHOTOCRAFT, I decided to book the flight.
Minsk is a very special and unique city. It does not have high density of population and you immediately notice that there are not so many cars as in other capital cities.
I liked this.
The architecture of Minsk is impressing. All of the city shares the same architectural landscape. A mixture of socialistic, futuristic, neo-classicism style.
For the pictures, I met Dasha, a 20 years old law student that spoke some English. After a coffee we started making pictures in the city center. We made pictures next to the big Magistrale and later in the subway. I think Minks provides a unique location itself. I hope I could chase some of the mood of this unique city.
Unfortunately it was cold and it was not easy for Dasha to hang around outside with the autumn clothes.
All in all, I think there were some good pictures.
I promised myself to go back and finalized the post with a behind the scenes video.
For this session I used my Panasonic G70 with prime lenses.
It was a cloudy day that provided good light. Flash was not needed.
In the late of the afternoon we went to PHOTOCRAFT and tried out some of the new camera gear from Panasonic.
Stay tuned!
