26.12.17 – Christmas in Kiev – Eva

The first time I came to Ukraine was because of a project of the company i used to work for. The country was still not very stable so there were not many volunteers in Berlin wanting to go there. Well, I took the chance and went for the project. I liked Kiev very much. It was my first time in an Russian speaking country and the first time I confronted Cyrillic script. Unfortunately I was very busy but at least I promised to come back for leisure soon. I did not want that time passes by, so I went there for Christmas.
Due to the gregorian calendar the city of Kiev looks very “normal” for being end of December. All stores were opened and I managed to make a photography session with Eva, a young model of Kiev.
The photo session was actually very basic. The highlight of the apartment was an oriel that provided very soft light from all sides.I put Eva in the middle and getting the light from the back.
I did not have a lot of photo equipment but anyway we made some pretty pictures. Eva was specially proud about the results.
