27.04.23 – Polaroid – Alexandra

I have, in my opinion, the nicest Polaroid camera in the market: The “Lomography Wide Central park”.
Years ago I bought a real Polaroid camera, but I was strongly disappointed of the picture quality of the current films.
Then, I decided to go for the instax system. After few tests, finally, I bought the Lomography Wide central park camera.
I like the big format and the warm tones of the pictures. Furthermore I like the vintage look of the camera.

It is getting warmer in Berlin. So, I was very motivated to go out and shoot with the Lomo.

I met Alexandra, a cute Polish girl living in Berlin and we met for pictures at the Teufelsee.

It was Wednesday during midday, and it looked like it would rain but it did not.
The result was that there was no people at the Teufelsee, It was extremely comfortable to shoot. Alexandra was in good mood and although it was not warm, end of April in Germany :-),  she tried some sexy outfits.

To shoot with the Lomo is not that easy. You have to adjust the focus carefully. I had some shots out of focus.

In my opnion the flash makes some strong contrasts pictures that I really love. But as we were shooting in a sunny day this was often turned off automatically. I think next time I will force the flash to get better results.

All in all I am happy with this camera and will keep it.
